Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has issued a stern warning to Christians who indulge in secular music, urging them to desist from what she described as “dancing with the devil.”
The actress-turned-preacher delivered the message in a passionate video shared via her TikTok page, where she called on believers to embrace godly entertainment and resist the temptation of worldly pleasures.
“If you want to club, club with Christ. Stop dancing with the devil. I’m the catalyst here to awaken you to your new reality,” Eucharia declared, clad in a modest outfit as she addressed her online audience with intensity and spiritual fervor.
The star, who has been vocal about her faith in recent years, expressed concern that many Christians are compromising their spiritual values by dancing to music that does not glorify God. She encouraged believers to find joy in gospel songs and spiritual activities rather than turning to what she termed “ungodly rhythms.”
“Seek fun in Godly ways,” she urged. According to her, gospel music offers enough rhythm, message, and joy to fill the void many seek to escape through secular content.
Eucharia Anunobi rose to fame in the Nigerian film industry in the early 2000s but has since shifted focus to ministry, using her platform to preach the gospel and challenge societal norms from a Christian perspective.
Her recent video has stirred a conversation online, with some supporting her message as a call to spiritual discipline, while others see it as an unrealistic expectation in today’s culturally diverse music landscape.
Still, the actress remains firm in her convictions, boldly positioning herself as “the catalyst” to ignite what she calls a spiritual awakening among Christians entangled in secular trends.
