Popular streamer Peller has voiced his disappointment after receiving what he described as a dismissive response from Afrobeats star Mr Eazi when he reached out for a livestream collaboration.
In a video shared online, Peller explained that he had sent the singer a direct message expressing his desire to host a joint livestream session. However, the response he got left him feeling slighted.
According to Peller, Mr Eazi who recently tied the knot with billionaire heiress Temi Otedola in a private wedding in Iceland reacted with laughter instead of giving the request serious consideration.
“Guys I wanted to do livestream with Mr Eazi. I texted him, he just use me to be laughing, he wrote LMAO…” Peller lamented in the clip, stressing that he felt disrespected by the casual tone of the reply.
The streamer added that he had genuinely hoped for the collaboration, as it would have been a rare opportunity to engage with one of Afrobeats’ biggest names.
Meanwhile, fans remain divided over the exchange with some sympathizing with Peller for being “brushed off,” while others argue that Mr Eazi’s light-hearted reply may not have been meant to offend.
