Ogun Police Warn Against Hookup Amid Rising Missing Girls Cases

The Ogun State Police Command has attributed the alarming rise in missing girls and ritual killings to the growing hookup culture.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Morning Brief on Wednesday, Police PRO Omolola Odutola revealed that investigations into missing person cases frequently lead back to these arrangements.

“Every day, we receive reports of at least 10 young girls and women going missing,” she said, adding that many are lured through hookup platforms to unfamiliar locations, where they face harm or fall victim to ritualists.

Odutola urged young women to exercise caution and avoid risky engagements that could jeopardize their safety.
