A Nigerian national and former member of the notorious “Bloods” street gang is currently in custody and awaiting deportation following a string of violent crimes in the United States.
Ibrahim Tunde Ijaoba, who entered the U.S. illegally, built an extensive criminal record before federal authorities moved to remove him from the country.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Ijaoba is currently being held pending his final removal to Nigeria.
Court records and law enforcement reports detail a dangerous “rap sheet” spanning several years.
Ijaoba’s convictions include armed robbery, assault, and drug sales.
His most serious offenses involved direct confrontations with law enforcement.
He was previously convicted of aggravated assault on a police officer with a firearm and has a history of escaping police custody and obstruction of justice.
Final Deportation Order
Despite his attempts to remain in the country, a judge has issued a final removal order.
Ijaoba remains in a secure ICE facility until travel arrangements to Nigeria are finalized.
Local authorities emphasize that his removal is part of a broader crackdown on foreign nationals involved in organized gang activity and violent crime.
