Former Big Brother Naija star, Kimoprah, is once again making headlines, not for her dazzling looks or travel escapades this time, but for her candid take on the audacity of some men who boldly approach her, regardless of class or setting.
In a recent episode of The BTS Reality podcast, Kimoprah opened up about her experiences with unsolicited attention from men during her international travels. According to the media personality and ex-beauty queen, she often finds herself being approached by taxi drivers and even immigration officers, men she considers outside her romantic preferences.
“Taxi drivers try to talk to me, men have audacity. When you travel abroad, you know how it is there, they don’t really care about class, they can talk to anybody. Anybody is within right of speech,” she shared, visibly amused yet stunned by the encounters.
She went on to note the irony that the class of men she is genuinely attracted to usually don’t approach her. Instead, it’s those who wouldn’t typically catch her attention that tend to be the most forward.
“I have had people like Immigration officers trying to talk to me. But the people that you want to attract, those ones shy away. It’s even better you shy away because that means you’re not for me. So, it’s okay. The one that is meant for me would eventually come and will stay,” she added.
Her comments have sparked light-hearted conversation across social media, with many women relating to the experience of being approached by men they aren’t necessarily interested in, while the ones they admire remain mysteriously silent.
Despite the unwanted attention, Kimoprah, who has steadily built her brand as a fashion influencer and media personality since leaving the BBNaija house, remains optimistic about love. Her confidence and self-awareness continue to resonate with fans who admire her poise and honesty.
