Jamari Logan, 18, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery after allegedly robbing two men at gunpoint on the same stretch of Congress Parkway in East Garfield Park, seven weeks apart.
Chicago Police Department officers have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a pair of armed robberies on the city’s West Side.
Officers took Jamari Logan into custody on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in the 2700 block of West Congress Parkway.
Investigators in the 11th District identified Logan as the gunman who robbed a 23-year-old male victim at gunpoint in the 2700 block of West Congress Parkway on September 15, 2026.
Police also linked Logan to a second gunpoint robbery occurring earlier in the summer.
Court records allege Logan robbed another 23-year-old male victim at gunpoint on July 26, 2026, in the 2500 block of West Congress Parkway.
Following his arrest, Cook County prosecutors charged Logan with two felony counts of robbery armed with a firearm.
Logan is scheduled for a formal detention hearing on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse located at 2600 South California Avenue.
Police have not released additional details regarding potential co-defendants or recovered weapons as the investigation continues.
