Nigerian rapper and hip-hop star Panshak Zamani, better known by his stage name Ice Prince, has revealed a deeply personal side of his journey in the limelight, reflecting on some of the decisions he regrets, particularly those involving his past relationships.
In a recent episode of the Konnected Minds Podcast, the Oleku crooner spoke candidly about mistakes he wishes he could undo, especially concerning the women he has loved and lost over the years.
When asked by the host, What is that thing that you’ve done in the course of your career that you wish you could change?”, Ice Prince didn’t hesitate to speak from the heart.
“Maybe decisions with women. I have broken a few hearts that I regret. I have messed up in some relationships that I wish I could turn back the hands of time. But everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, in life you just have to learn from your mistakes and not repeat them,” he admitted.
Known for his smooth rhymes and charming personality, Ice Prince has been one of Nigeria’s most prominent rap voices for over a decade. But like many celebrities, his personal life, especially his romantic relationships has not been without turbulence.
Opening up further, the artist delved into the emotional impact of his missteps.
“As for me, I have tried to learn from every mistake I have made. I have made a lot of mistakes, especially regarding women. I have lost some very amazing angels due to some stupid stuff; stuff I could probably have avoided, girls I shouldn’t have said ‘hi’ to or follow back on social media. Some little, tiny mistakes. As you grow older, you just learn to live with the regrets,” Ice Prince reflected.
The rapper’s emotional honesty adds a new layer to his public persona, one that fans might not often see behind the glitz, fame, and lyrics. His words serve as a reminder that behind the spotlight are real people dealing with real regrets and lessons learned.
As Ice Prince continues his artistic journey, this heartfelt confession may just signal a more introspective and mature chapter in both his music and personal life.
