According to the angry customer, this was the third time in three weeks that he had encountered discrepancies in fuel pricing at the station.

He explained that he was aware of his fuel consumption and expected a full tank to cost no more than ₦25,000, but the station allegedly tampered with the bill, inflating it to ₦39,000.

“Why are you begging me?” he angrily told an attendant who approached him.

In the video, the man can be seen pointing at the petrol pump while expressing his frustration. “Is this government? Three times!” he said.

The video has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences.

An X user @TusleemOfficial said: “Na so I record one mobile staffs years ago, dude thought I’m not aware what he was doing. Baba no sell my fuel complete con later de apologize when he knew I had a video. Corruption don chop this country go far, no be here e start.”
