Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested following her recent social media outbursts and public allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry.
The reported arrest comes days after Ogala called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate Pastor Okafor’s church altar, alleging that a person died during the construction of the church.
Popular comedian Deeone broke the news on Instagram, sparking widespread reactions online. In his post, he claimed that the actress had been taken into custody and suggested she would now have to substantiate her allegations in court.
“Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her, the allegations did not add up. Now, she will have to defend everything in court. Everywhere good, my people,” Deeone wrote.
Ogala and Pastor Okafor have dominated headlines in recent days following a series of allegations and counter-reactions. The actress previously claimed that the cleric promised to marry her but later got engaged to another woman, Pearl, whom he reportedly married on December 16, 2025.
According to Ogala, her relationship with Pastor Okafor began in 2017. She is reportedly seeking ₦1 billion in damages, citing breach of promise, emotional distress, and reputational harm.
In addition to the alleged romantic fallout, Ogala has repeatedly called for a security investigation into Okafor’s church altar, raising concerns over an alleged death linked to the construction of the building.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official confirmation from security agencies regarding the reported arrest.
