UK-based Nigerian pastor and founder of the SPAC Nation church, Tobi Adegboyega, has given his followers and well-wishers an important update on his health following a recent battle with cancer.
The flamboyant preacher, who previously revealed his diagnosis to the public, disclosed in a new video that he has successfully undergone surgery and is now preparing to begin chemotherapy, the next stage of his treatment.
Despite the difficult journey, Adegboyega said he has chosen to face his health challenges with courage and realism, even when such conversations are often met with denial in Nigerian society.
“This is proof of life. I’m alive and I’m recovering. I have gone through the surgery, and then there is the cinematography treatment afterwards. When you tell Nigerians this, they will say it’s not your portion in Jesus’ name, but it was my portion and I have faced it like a man should,” he stated.
Adegboyega, who is popular both in Nigeria and the UK for his bold lifestyle and charitable initiatives, also took time to express gratitude to those who have kept him in their thoughts and prayers throughout the difficult period.
