The drama in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house took a dramatic twist on Tuesday night as multiple altercations erupted between housemates, leaving some in tears and the entire house on edge. But while viewers were still processing the emotional rollercoaster, two housemates Denari and Danboskid dropped a bombshell: it was all staged.
In what was one of the most chaotic nights yet this season, the BBNaija house saw verbal clashes fly from every corner. Koyin and Kaybobo locked horns in a heated exchange, followed shortly by Mensan and Kaybobo. Ivatar clashed with Otega, and Rooboy found himself in a confrontation with the current Head of House, Jason Jae.
Tensions ran high, and emotions spilled over. Koyin, Mensan, and Kaybobo were seen crying during or after their respective arguments, stirring reactions from fellow housemates and sparking intense speculation among fans online.
But behind the scenes, Denari wasn’t buying it.
In a private conversation with Danboskid shortly after the chaos, Denari voiced his skepticism about the authenticity of the night’s emotional displays.
“People escalate things in this house and I’m sitting back and observing. It’s a performance, I can see they are acting all these things. Some tears I have seen are not genuine. Mensan cried fake tears and Kaybobo also cried fake tears because he has been watching this guy cry,” he declared, bluntly accusing his fellow contestants of strategic acting to gain attention.
Danboskid didn’t hesitate to back him up, chiming in with a similar take: “Kaybobo was crying because he wants to have the attention he saw the housemates giving to Mensan.”
According to the duo, the tears and tensions were nothing more than calculated performances aimed at manipulating perception and winning sympathy from others in the house especially the female housemates.
Not wanting to be left behind in the performance parade, Denari and Danboskid began plotting their own theatrics.
“We need our own flare-up moment. We need a perfect performance; a proper flare-up that will start from an anti-climax to the climax,” Denari suggested, clearly inspired to stage a scene of their own.
Danboskid, playing along, asked, “Now, we are acting?”
To which Denari boldly replied: “No, we are giving a performance. We don’t care!”
As BBNaija Season 10 continues to unfold, it’s clear the lines between strategy and sincerity are becoming more blurred by the day. Whether these fights are truly genuine or all part of a deeper game plan, one thing is certain, the housemates are here to entertain, and nothing is off the table.
