The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house witnessed a major shake-up on Monday as Thelma Lawson clinched the highly coveted Head of House (HOH) title for week seven, ending Faith’s short-lived reign as interim HOH.
The competitive challenge, held in the afternoon, saw Thelma outperform fellow housemates including Koyin, Faith, Jason Jae, Bright Morgan, and Kaybobo. Her victory not only secured her the crown but also earned her immunity from eviction for the week, a huge advantage as the competition gets tougher.
As part of her new privileges, Thelma was asked by Big Brother to choose a deputy and house guest for the week. Without hesitation, she selected Mide, who will now share access to the exclusive HOH lounge and enjoy the perks that come with the position.
Biggie, in his usual dramatic fashion, announced her win to the house:
“Housemates, you all know that delay isn’t denial. Congratulations, Head of House Thelma Lawson. Who will be your house guest?”
To which Thelma proudly responded: “Mide.”
Thelma’s emergence as HOH adds a fresh twist to house politics, setting the stage for new alliances, rivalries, and strategies as the countdown to the grand finale continues.
