Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist, Sultana, has shared her honest feelings about the dramatic disqualification of fellow housemate Faith, an event that stirred controversy among fans and contestants alike.
Speaking in a recent interview with Arise TV, Sultana revealed that although she understood the reason behind Faith’s disqualification, the incident left her emotionally unsettled.
“I didn’t feel good about it, I’m not going to lie. But at the end of the day, he did something and it went out of hand, and he paid the price. But overall, I wasn’t happy about it,” she said.
Faith’s disqualification became one of the most talked-about moments of the season after he was sent packing for getting physical during a skincare task rehearsal. According to reports, the clash began when Sultana accused Faith of being overly controlling and attempting to dominate the group task, despite not having expertise in skincare products.
What started as a verbal disagreement quickly escalated into a heated altercation. Witnesses recalled Faith angrily dragging a basket filled with the group’s materials, an action that caused Sultana to lose balance and fall to the floor. She reportedly twisted her ankle during the incident and later claimed her hand was also injured in the process.
The outburst violated Big Brother’s strict rule against any form of physical violence, leading to Faith’s immediate disqualification from the house.
Reflecting on the event, Sultana expressed that while the punishment was justified, she still felt compassion for Faith, noting that no contestant should have their journey end that way.
“It’s never easy to watch someone you’ve shared a space with for weeks leave like that,” she added.
The disqualification sparked mixed reactions among fans on social media while some argued that Big Brother was right to enforce the rules, others felt Faith’s removal was too harsh and that the altercation could have been resolved with a strike or warning.
Sultana’s emotional reflection has now reignited conversations about the pressures contestants face inside the Big Brother house, where intense competition and confined living conditions often push tempers to the edge.
