Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist, Kola, has opened up about a surprising misconception he had about the show’s iconic host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during his time in Biggie’s house.
In a recent post-show interview with GOtv, the reality star admitted that while competing on the show, he was convinced that Ebuka had a personal dislike for him.
“My confession from the 10/10 season is that I thought Ebuka hated me,” Kola revealed with a laugh.
Although he didn’t go into detail about what led to that assumption, fans speculate that his perception may have stemmed from Ebuka’s famously composed and occasionally stern demeanor during live eviction shows, moments when housemates are often anxious and reading too much into every expression or comment.
Now out of the house, Kola says he sees things differently and appreciates the professionalism and charisma Ebuka brings to the show every year.
The confession has since gone viral among BBNaija fans, with many reacting humorously to Kola’s statement. Some viewers noted that several past housemates have also admitted to feeling intimidated by Ebuka’s presence during the live shows.
Ebuka, who has hosted the reality series since 2017, is widely admired for his poise, sharp fashion sense, and ability to ask tough questions, qualities that sometimes make contestants misread his neutral stance as hostility.
Kola’s revelation adds a lighthearted twist to the post-season buzz, showing just how emotionally intense life inside Biggie’s house can be even for finalists who made it to the end.
