Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has sparked conversation both inside and outside the house after making a deeply personal revelation about his relationship with his mother.
During a heart-to-heart chat with fellow housemate Joanna after Thursday’s pool party, the Osun-born medical doctor admitted he wished his mother had been “a better mum.”
Faith initially expressed his feelings bluntly, saying: “I hate my mum.” Joanna quickly cautioned him not to use such harsh words. He then clarified: “Okay, maybe not hate but I just wish she was a better mum.”
Opening up further, Faith explained that despite his efforts to strengthen the bond, he has struggled to form a deeper connection with his mother. His honesty revealed a softer side of the usually reserved housemate, sparking sympathy among viewers.
Joanna, however, encouraged him to reconsider his perspective, urging him to put in more effort and not give up on repairing their relationship. She reminded him that mothers often make countless sacrifices for their children even in the act of childbirth alone and deserve forgiveness, no matter the disagreements.
Faith’s emotional disclosure adds another layer of vulnerability to his BBNaija journey, highlighting how the reality show continues to serve as a platform where housemates confront their personal struggles as much as they chase the ₦120 million grand prize.
