Prince Arthur Eze is a man of many titles and accomplishments. He is the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, one of the largest privately-held oil exploration and production companies in Nigeria.

However, he is not just a successful businessman, he is also a philanthropist and a politician. In addition, he holds the traditional title of ‘Ozoigbondu’ of Ndi Igbo, reflecting his status as a respected member of his community.

Prince Arthur Eze was born on November 27th, 1948, in Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA, in Anambra State. He grew up in a traditional Royal Family, and attended St. Augustine Secondary School in Nkwerre, Imo State in 1970. After completing his Secondary School education, he traveled to the United States to obtain a degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from California State University between 1974 and 1978.

In 1991, Prince Arthur Eze founded Atlas Oranto Petroleum, which has grown to become Nigeria’s largest privately held company specializing in oil production and exploration. Today, he is recognized as one of the most successful businessmen in Nigeria, and continues to play an active role in the country’s political and social landscape.

Atlas Oranto, founded by Arthur Eze, is one of the biggest oil and gas company operating across Africa. With a remarkable track record, the company currently holds a whopping 22 oil and gas licenses in different parts of Africa, making it the largest privately-held oil company in Nigeria.

Moreover, Atlas Oranto is also the largest holder of oil exploration blocks on the African continent. The company maintains its regional offices in several top countries in West Africa, and its primary technical location is situated in Lagos, Nigeria, with a headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.

Arthur Eze Politics

Arthur Eze is a well-known Nigerian businessman who has made a name for himself in the political arena as well. He played a significant role in the formation of the political party known as the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), which was reportedly created in his very own sitting room.

According to rumors, Arthur Eze is considered a powerful political figure in Anambra State and is often referred to as a “god-father”. He has been known to sponsor political candidates, such as Senator Joy Emordi, especially following the annulment of Emmanuel Anosike in 2005.

Following the deregulation of airlines in Nigeria in 1992, Arthur Eze founded Triax Airlines, which commenced operations from Enugu Airport. At its peak, Triax Airlines managed to maintain a fleet of three Boeing 727s, providing reliable and efficient air transportation services to customers.

Unfortunately, the airline ceased operations in 2000, leaving behind a legacy of quality service and a commitment to safety.

According to recent reports, it has been estimated that Eze, a notable individual, possesses a net worth of approximately $5.8 billion.

It has been further stated that Eze’s extensive collection of luxury vehicles includes two private jets, five Rolls-Royce automobiles, and seven Maybachs, truly showcasing his affinity for opulence and extravagance.

Arthur Eze loves luxury cars, its no surprise that he is the proud owner of an impressive collection of five Rolls Royce vehicles, each representing a different year and model. Arthur’s Rolls Royce collection is considered to be one of the most extensive in Nigeria, and he is recognized as one of the top 50 Rolls Royce owners in the country.

Private Jet

He is also the owner of a luxurious Falcon plane that he acquired back in 2015. In addition to this, he possesses a highly expensive Bombardier stream, which is valued at over $25 million.

Arthur Eze Philanthropy 

  • Back in 2013, he made a generous donation of $12 million towards the construction of the St. Stephen’s Anglican Deanery and Youth Development Center in Otuoke, which is located in the Bayelsa State. This gesture of goodwill was undoubtedly a significant contribution towards the development and betterment of the community.
  • He also donated $800,000 for the construction of two primary schools in Yirol and Rumbek communities in central South Sudan.
  • He was part of those who contributed to the relief needs of the victims of Boko Haram insurgencies, of which he donated the sum of $800,000 at a fundraiser in Abuja.
  • Prince Arthur Eze gave N25 million of the total funds raised for the ‘Russia 2018’ FIFA World Cup in 2018.
