On August 14, 2023, Janeen DiGuiseppi was named as the assistant director of the Insider Threat Office at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Ms. DiGuiseppi joined the FBI as a special agent in 1999 and was assigned to the Salt Lake City Field Office, where she investigated violent crime, drug trafficking, and public corruption.
2008: She was promoted to assistant legal attaché in Baghdad, supervising the FBI’s Major Crimes Task Force.
2009: She returned to Salt Lake City to join the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Drug Diversion Task Force.
2010: Janeen became supervisory special agent, leading the FBI’s biometric operations in Kabul, Afghanistan.
2012: Janeen was assigned to the Memphis Field Office in Tennessee.
2014: DiGuiseppi was promoted to assistant section chief of the Public Corruption and Civil Rights Section at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
