Why is there no light in Lagos today?
Lagos residents have been asking questions since most of the city has been without power and light today. The Power Outage has sparked lots of reactions.
The reason why there is no light in Lagos is because the national power grid has collapsed again. This happened on Saturday, July 6th.
“The current service disruption is due to a system collapse of the national grid at about 15:08hrs today, 6th July 2024”, The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, IKEDC said.
The power company added; “We are in collaboration with relevant stakeholders within the power value chain to ensure the speedy restoration of supply”.
