Ikeja City Mall 

Ikeja City Mall(ICM) is the biggest mall on the mainland.

It is situated at Obafemi Awolowo Way in the heart of Ikeja, Alausa. It comprises 100 stores in a large building spread across 22,000 m² of space in Ikeja.

There are clothing stores, saloons, restaurants, cafes, skating arenas, cinemas, skincare stores, gaming centers and so much more.

The fun never ends for shoppers at ICM. You get to enjoy a variety of entertainment and leisure under one roof. 

When you’re visiting the Ikeja City Mall, ensure you carry enough cash so you can participate in a number of things and enjoy your time there.

The Pool Terrace Bar

The Pool terrace bar is a classy and entertaining hangout spot located in the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja.

The bar offers a fantastic outdoor poolside view with fancy alfresco dining. It is the perfect place to chill with friends, enjoy lovely food, a great view, fresh air, and an entertaining performance from the resident band “Donna and Friends ‘. 

You should visit the Terrace bar in the evenings so you can have a taste of Lagos’s nightlife on the mainland. The Pool Terrace bar is an exclusive location, so you don’t have to worry about overcrowding or your safety.

Opening Hours: 9 am – 4 pm Monday to Sunday.

Alice Garden 

Alice Garden is one of the best Asian restaurants in Lagos Mainland. It is a sister restaurant to Huan Huan and is located at 57 oduduwa way, Ikeja GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. 

The restaurant has good food, a lovely ambience, and an Alice in the wonderland themed interior where you can loosen up and meet new people. It is a super fun place to hang out with friends and enjoy tasty Chinese delicacies with a Nigerian mix. 

You can enjoy tasty meals ranging from 5000 naira and above. It is a fun place for people who love good food, and tasty wine and enjoy fine dining.

Opening Hours: 11 am – 10 pm Monday to Sunday.

Ouida Lagos

Ouida Lagos is the perfect place for book lovers on the mainland.

It is a three-floor cultural building designed as a safe haven for creative minds and art enthusiasts.

There are a lot of fun things to do at Ouida, you can buy a book for as low as 2000 naira from the bookstore, sign up for the monthly open mic sessions /karaoke night with friends, attend an affordable paint and sip class, or enjoy tasty pastries and drinks at the Cafe.

At Ouida, you never get bored because there’s always an activity or event to participate in. 

Location: 3c Oba Dosunmu Street, Ikeja GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Opening Hours: 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Saturday.

Purple Maryland 

Purple Maryland formerly known as Maryland Mall is a fun spot in Maryland where you can eat, drink, shop, and even catch the latest blockbuster movies. 

The Mall has a very unique exterior design which has fondly been coined the “Big Black Box”.

The building comprises 40 shopping stores, restaurants, a food court, a supermarket, and a 4 movie screen cinema room.

Purple Maryland offers you non-stop entertainment all in one building. Its convenient location, captivating exterior, and state-of-the-art facilities make it one of the most accessible places to have fun in Lagos mainland.

Location: Maryland, along Anthony Village, Ikeja, Lagos.

Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 8 am – 10 pm.

New Afrika Shrine

If you want to enjoy pure entertainment, dance, drinks, and nightlife in Lagos mainland then this is the place to be.

It is a historical building located at Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos that serves as a Landmark for the yearly Felabration music festival.

The building holds so much history as it is a replacement for the old Fela Shrine founded by the musical legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

The New Afrika Shrine is currently managed by two of Fela’s older children, Femi and Yeni Kuti. It showcases art and photo galleries portraying the life of Fela.

It is one of the best places that offers total entertainment and fun vibes in Lagos and the best night to visit is on Sunday night.

Location: 2 NERDC Rd, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

Opening Hours: 6 am – 12 am, Monday to Sunday 

Vault Resto Lounge

Vault Resto Lounge is one of the hottest new spots in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

It features a premium restaurant with an amazing nightlife option.  It is the perfect place for dining, lit music, and non-stop partying.

You should visit Vault if you’re looking for a place to enjoy great cocktails, live music, and unwind with friends on the weekends.
