Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has clapped back at her co-wife, Laila Charani, following a string of allegations accusing her of introducing drugs and engaging in inappropriate relationships within their polygamous household.
In a fiery response shared online, Regina dismissed Laila’s claims and said she found nothing shameful about same-sex relationships. She also accused Laila of making “disrespectful” remarks allegedly influenced by their husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
“Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say,” Regina wrote. “I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring.”
Responding to the allegation that she had been intimate with women, Regina said she didn’t view same-gender relations as disgraceful. “Truthfully, sleeping with the same gender isn’t something I consider shameful. But how is she so certain? Is she so certain because I slept with her too?” she added.
Regina also hinted at troubling behavior involving Laila’s son but declined to go into details, saying only that her own son still loved him despite the issues.
She further urged her husband, Ned Nwoko, to safeguard their children and not use them as pawns in the ongoing rift. “Ned better protect my kids. Their foundation is the ultimate. Do not use them to weaken me,” she warned.
Regina’s remarks came shortly after Laila publicly accused her of bringing drugs into the family home and manipulating domestic staff, reigniting tension within the high-profile Nwoko household.
