The marital crisis in the household of Senator Ned Nwoko has taken another dramatic turn as his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, has accused fellow wife and Nollywood actress Regina Daniels of introducing drugs and other negative influences into their family.
In a post shared on her social media page, Laila refuted Regina’s claim that she had ever supported her financially, insisting that she is fully provided for by her husband.
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money? For what exactly?” Laila wrote. “I am very content with what my husband provides for us. Let’s show Nigerians our bank records to see who really pays who.”
The mother of three went further to make serious allegations, claiming Regina introduced her to drug use about six years ago, a habit that almost destroyed her marriage until Ned Nwoko intervened.
According to her, Regina’s alleged behavior has extended beyond herself. Laila claimed that the actress has been distributing drugs to domestic staff and even her younger sister, Destiny.
“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” Laila alleged, describing the actress as a negative influence in the family.
In a shocking addition, Laila accused Regina of inappropriate relationships with “every single girl” around her, adding that she no longer feels comfortable allowing her daughters near the actress without supervision.
“You sleep with girls around you,” she wrote. “I no longer trust my daughters to be around you unsupervised.”
She urged Regina to focus on rehabilitation and stop dragging other wives and family members online.
“If you don’t like me, stay off my page and stop attacking me and my children,” she said. “All I’ve ever wanted is to live peacefully with my husband and family.”
Laila’s outburst comes shortly after Senator Ned Nwoko publicly denied allegations of domestic abuse, instead accusing Regina of substance abuse and calling for her rehabilitation.
The ongoing feud has drawn massive attention online, with many Nigerians urging the couple to resolve their issues privately to avoid further public embarrassment.
