Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has publicly declared her unwavering support for her close friend and colleague Iyabo Ojo, vowing to stand by her in the face of what she described as persistent bullying and criticism.
The Malaika star took to Instagram with a fiery post, revealing that she had chosen silence for months while Iyabo endured repeated attacks, both online and offline.
According to Abraham, the backlash stemmed from Ojo’s outspoken involvement in controversies surrounding the late singer Mohbad, music promoter Sam Larry, singer Naira Marley, as well as her long-running feud with fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin.
But now, Abraham says her patience has run out. In her strongly worded post, she wrote:
“Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react, and I pray the world won’t call it ‘overreacting.’ Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it. Not just as a mum… but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go.”
Iyabo Ojo, who spotted the post, responded in the comment section urging her friend to remain calm and avoid getting dragged into the storm. “Baby, hold your peace. I love you,” she replied.

The heartfelt exchange which has since been deleted quickly made the rounds online.
Fans of both actresses flooded social media with mixed reactions, with some applauding Abraham for boldly standing up for her friend, while others echoed Ojo’s advice for restraint, urging her not to get entangled in the controversies.
