Nigeria has been hit by another nationwide blackout following a fresh collapse of the national grid on Wednesday.
Data from the Independent System Operator (ISO) shows power generation plunged from 2,917.83 megawatts at 11 a.m. to just 1.5 megawatts by 12 p.m., leaving homes and businesses across the country in darkness.
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the collapse or efforts to restore supply.
