The Lagos State government’s enforcement team is currently clearing illegal street traders at the 2nd Rainbow Junction, on the road leading to Mile 2.
The operation is part of an ongoing effort to combat activities that cause traffic congestion, endanger pedestrians, and create environmental nuisance.
According to a statement from the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the enforcement team is actively working to remove the traders. The move is aimed at ensuring the city’s roads are safe, clean, and free of environmental violations.
The government maintains its commitment to maintaining order and public safety in the state’s commercial areas.
