Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is once again in the headlines, as fresh reports claim he has shifted blame onto his second wife, Judy Austin, for the breakdown of his marriage to his first wife, May Edochie, and the tragedy that struck his family.
According to Nigerian entertainment blogger Cutie Juls, Yul holds Judy responsible for the controversies surrounding his marriage as well as the heartbreaking loss of his 16-year-old son, Kambiluchukwu.
The Edochie family drama has been a major topic of public conversation since April 2022, when Yul shocked fans by announcing his marriage to Judy Austin. The revelation triggered outrage on social media and eventually led May to file for divorce.
Tragedy struck in March 2023 when Kambiluchukwu suddenly slumped while playing football at school, shortly after completing an exam. Despite being rushed to Mother and Child Hospital, efforts to revive him failed.
Cutie Juls reports that Yul now privately blames Judy Austin for the fallout and misfortunes in his family life, although the actor has not publicly addressed the claims.
