Controversial relationship coach and social media personality, Blessing CEO, has cried out following the arrest of her fiancé, popular celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, while the couple was preparing to travel to Qatar for their much-anticipated wedding ceremony. IVD was allegedly detained by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
Taking to her Instagram page on Saturday evening, Blessing CEO expressed deep frustration over the arrest, calling it unjust and politically motivated.
Describing the arrest as “illegal,” she wrote, “This is a tribal war that has nothing to do with justice. What are you charging IVD for? no case file, or statement.” She further claimed the situation was being manipulated by emotional and tribal sentiments rather than facts and legal due process, calling it “a game of politics and dirty emotions.”
While details of the arrest remain sketchy, emerging reports suggest it may be connected to the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, who passed away under controversial circumstances in 2022.
The latest development has once again thrust the couple into the spotlight, reigniting public debate around the unresolved saga involving IVD and his late spouse. As speculations swirl, Blessing CEO has continued to stand by her man, maintaining his innocence and insisting that due process be followed.
Fans and followers now await further clarification from the authorities on the status of the case and whether the couple’s wedding plans in Qatar will proceed.
