Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has made an emotional declaration about her past, linking her failed marriage to the future success of her daughter Priscilla’s union.
The actress and businesswoman, speaking at Priscilla’s baby shower in Canada on Sunday evening, described her own marital struggles as a price she paid so that her daughter’s love story could thrive.
In a now-viral video making the rounds on social media, Iyabo Ojo is seen praying for Priscilla, expressing deep hope for her daughter’s future with her husband.
“Even if mine did not work, your own marriage will work, you’ll grow old with your husband beside you. Because you have married the bone of your bones. I have paid the sacrifice for your marriage to work,” she said tearfully.
