Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has reignited her long-running feud with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, marking her 5th wedding anniversary with a fresh wave of allegations against the media personality.
In an emotional Instagram post shared on her anniversary, Lizzy claimed Iyabo Ojo orchestrated a malicious campaign to ruin her marriage and destroy her public image. The actress didn’t hold back as she listed several damning accusations against Ojo, alleging betrayal, deceit, and public manipulation.
Among the claims, Lizzy alleged that Iyabo hired someone to secretly record her husband and went as far as forging a death certificate to solicit sympathy and donations online. She also accused Ojo of spreading “damaging lies” through various blogs and causing distress to her family.
She wrote, “Dear Iyabo Ojo, marriage is about kindness and loyalty. It’s not about destruction but about building together, it’s about giving them a second chance to become a better version of themselves. A good marriage isn’t about tearing a family down; it’s about loving and building a family together.”
In a more personal part of her statement, Lizzy recalled what she described as a manipulative lie Ojo allegedly told shortly after her wedding. “I still remember how you called me, claiming that Senator Melaye gave you a diamond wedding ring shortly after my wedding. I never knew it was a lie. Why did you cook up stories about getting a diamond ring? To do what again? Gangan.”
This isn’t the first time both actresses have clashed publicly. The feud reached a legal turning point recently when Iyabo Ojo filed a defamation lawsuit against Lizzy, seeking N1 billion in damages. However, the court dismissed the suit and awarded a cost of N500,000 against Ojo.
While Iyabo Ojo has not yet responded to the latest accusations, fans and followers of both actresses are once again watching closely as the drama unfolds in Nigeria’s celebrity scene.
