Yinka Theisen, the ex-fiancée of Nollywood actor and filmmaker Linc Edochie, has opened up about the circumstances surrounding their short-lived relationship, shedding new light on the dramatic fallout that followed their engagement.
In a candid video interview with controversial actor and social commentator Uche Maduagwu, Yinka detailed how her relationship with Linc began and the shocking revelations he allegedly shared about his estranged wife, Amaka Paula.
According to Yinka, Linc confided in her that his marriage had fallen apart due to infidelity and drug use. “I started a relationship with him after he told me a very, very sad thing about how his wife was sleeping around in Abuja with all the Alhajis, all these things I have text messages of and that she’s a weed head. She smokes weed every day, and that she withdraws the medication of their last child that had seizures,” she claimed.
Yinka went on to express her dismay over how things eventually ended between them, revealing that despite her emotional support and presence during what she described as a difficult period for the Edochie family, Linc ended their relationship just a month after they got engaged in May 2025.
“What Linc did to me, I’m shocked. I can’t lie to you, I’m shocked. This is a man a lot of people don’t know, the family (Edochie) had a tragic event recently. And I was there for him. I came to stay with him in Lagos, I supported him. I will just leave it at that because it’s a sensitive thing, and I don’t want to bring out a family secret that a lot of people don’t know about,” she added.
Linc Edochie and his estranged wife, Amaka Paula, were married in December 2010 and share two children. Their separation had remained relatively private until Yinka’s explosive revelations brought their personal lives back into the public eye.
The breakup between Yinka and Linc reportedly stemmed from her involvement in the ongoing divorce saga between Queen May and Yul Edochie, another prominent member of the Edochie family. Linc allegedly called off the engagement due to Yinka’s controversial online commentary on the matter.
As the drama unfolds, neither Linc Edochie nor his estranged wife, Amaka, has publicly responded to the accusations made by Yinka. The revelations have, however, stirred widespread reactions on social media, with many calling for restraint and privacy amid the unfolding personal battles.
