Barely a month after going public with their union, actress Yinka Theisen has come out to slam her estranged husband, actor and filmmaker Linc Edochie, for abruptly ending their marriage and announcing it on social media.
The couple, whose whirlwind romance had sparked widespread reactions online, officially separated on Monday following intense backlash and controversy surrounding their relationship.
In a lengthy and emotional post shared recently, Yinka opened up about the circumstances that led to the split. According to her, the pair had a disagreement earlier that morning, during which she threatened to walk away from the relationship. However, she said she was stunned to discover that Linc had blocked her and then taken the matter public by announcing their breakup online.
Expressing her frustration, she wrote:
“You may all continue to laugh at me. I had a quarrel with Linc this morning and was upset and threatened to break up. Next thing I was blocked and he broke up in the most embarrassing way. His brother Leo then made a nasty recording about me. Keep laughing at me but one thing I am not is a coward. God judges all and my case is not different. The same Linc who gave May my number is defending himself. Thank you apostle Ugo Wems for uplifting me tonight!
It is sad that a man I love can throw me under the bus over an argument because of fear. Since he has cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind. Just for the record, I am doing great now!!”
