It was a night of celebration at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island as Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, better known as Peller, took home the Influencer of the Year award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.
The event, held on Sunday evening, saw Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in attendance, adding extra shine to the occasion.
Peller, a rising star in Nigeria’s social media scene, beat out nine other top nominees in a tight race decided by public votes.
The Silverbird Awards, known for honoring people who make a big impact, handed Peller the prize for his growing influence online.
In a joyful moment caught on video, the young influencer prostrated before Governor Sanwo-Olu, holding his shiny award. “You make Lagos good,” Peller said with a big smile, showing his appreciation for the governor’s work.
