Purple Apples in Saskatchewan are not real

The viral post on Facebook claiming that there are Purple Apples in Saskatchewan, Canada is fake, not real. The post has sparked several reactions.

“The Purple Apple, originating from Saskatchewan, Canada, thrive in its chilly climate, boasting a flavor profile reminiscent of cinnamon and banana.” The Facebook page claims.

It also alleges that the Purple apples are sometimes referred to as “Canadian Grapes.”

“Their vibrant purple exterior hides a richly colored interior, making them prized ingredients, particularly in the creation of purple applesauce, celebrated by indigenous Saskatchewan peoples.”

The Facebook page (@Marian Spencer) is known for generating and sharing AI-created plants and flowers.

“The fact that they’re lying about not just the apple but the cultural signifigance and stuff too is not only stupid, I’d also say its offensive.” An angry Facebook user reacted to the viral image.

A resident of Saskatchewan confirmed there are no purple apples, stating, “I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, and I assure you, the apples grown here are not purple and definitely don’t taste anything like bananas.”

Another jokingly said: “Ah yes .. I live in Saskatchewan and I have one of these trees in my back yard right beside the beautiful blooming money tree I planted a few years ago . These apples are loved by the unicorns in my unicorn farm too !”
