A bizarre story about a 1960s TV producer named Chad Powers and his show, Sunnyville, has been circulating on social media, claiming that the show was a real-life Truman Show scenario.

However, it has been confirmed that the entire narrative is false and was generated by artificial intelligence.

The story, shared by the Instagram page @inspectorstory, which is known for posting AI-generated tales, described a town called Sunnyville, where 20,000 actors were involved, with five unsuspecting residents unknowingly filmed as part of a twisted TV show.

According to the fabricated narrative, the show was filmed in a massive dome in Antarctica, and the creator, Chad Powers, controlled everything from the people to the weather.

It even claimed that Powers caused artificial disasters for entertainment, resulting in the deaths of over 300 actors.

Despite the eerie details, this story is entirely fake. The Instagram page that shared the tale has a bio that clearly states: “AI Narratives & Conspiracies”, indicating that the content is fictional and generated by artificial intelligence.

While the story gained attention, it’s important to note that none of it is based on reality. There was no TV producer named Chad Powers, no town of Sunnyville or Sunnyvale secretly filmed in Antarctica, and no mass revolt by actors trapped in a dome.

The claim that the events took place in 1950 instead of 1960 is also false.
