A viral video involving Lindsay Lohan has sparked reactions with claims circulating that she attempted to kidnap a refugee child while live-streaming on Instagram.

A user on X (formerly Twitter), said, “I love how everybody forgot she tried to kidnap a child while recording it on Instagram Live and that baby’s mother beat the living shit out of her on that same live. I think that was the wakeup call she needed.”

Did Lindsay Lohan Try to Kidnap a Child

The claim that Lohan attempted to kidnap a refugee child cannot be verified as true.

In September 2018, Lindsay Lohan posted a live video on Instagram, which quickly became controversial.

The video showed Lohan approaching a family on the sidewalk, who she identified as Syrian refugees. She claimed they needed help and expressed concern for their well-being.

In the video, Lohan offered one of the children a stay at a hotel, where he could watch a movie.

She then criticized the mother for not allowing the child to go with her, suggesting that the mother wasn’t doing enough to provide a better life for her children.

As the family tried to walk away, Lohan followed them, accusing them of child trafficking and speaking to them in what sounded like an Arabic accent.

The situation escalated when Lohan attempted to grab one of the boys, and the mother appeared to hit Lohan in response.

The video ended with Lohan looking shocked and tearful, claiming that she was only trying to help the children.

Social Media Reactions

Some people on social media don’t believe Lindsay Lohan was really trying to help the children. They think she was attempting to steal or kidnap the child.

One person commented, “As if being homeless wasn’t bad enough, now you have to worry about Lindsay Lohan making an unwanted appearance.”

Another joked, “Imagine the kids’ storytimes in the future! ‘Lindsay Lohan tried to kidnap me as a kid.'”

Someone else noted, “The mom punched the accent out of her LOL.”

Another reaction highlighted the unsettling nature of Lohan’s actions: “Creepy, she said to the kids only, ‘I’ll take you with me and you’ll see your parents tomorrow.’ That gave me chills. Sick. Why don’t you give them money so they can get their own hotel room?”

The incident has sparked a big debate on social media, with many people questioning Lohan’s actions and intentions during the live stream.
