Chicago police are asking for the public’s help to find a 14-year-old boy missing from the Southwest Side.
Gadiel Acosta was last seen on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
Detectives report he disappeared from the 5500 block of South Archer Avenue.
Gadiel is described as a Hispanic male with a medium complexion.
He stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds.
The teen has black hair and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, Gadiel was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
He was also wearing black Jordan gym shoes.
The Chicago Police Department has classified this as an active missing person case under number JK130475.
Area One Special Victims Unit is currently leading the investigation.
