Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta suffered a major blow to their title aspirations with the defeat, and his international teammate contributed largely to it.

Dele-Bashiru assisted Gustav Isaksen for the winning goal in the 54th minute.

He played the whole duration of the encounter to help Lazio to a vital win to boost their Champions League qualification hopes.

Ademola Lookman endured a frustrating outing with a subdued performance, failing to add to his goal tally this season.

He was replaced by Lazar Samardzic in the 74th minute.

Atalanta failed to take advantage of Inter Milan’s 2-2 draw against Parma on Saturday.

Gian Gasperini’s men are four points behind table-toppers Inter Milan with seven matches to go.

The win propelled Lazio to the sixth position on the log.

Lookman has scored 13 goals in 25 appearances in the Serie A for Atalanta.

While, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has scored three goals in 18 appearances for Lazio this season.

Up next for Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and his Lazio teammates is a clash against Roma next Sunday.

Atalanta will battle it out with Bologna on the same day.
