Idris Elba, the globally celebrated actor and filmmaker, has given a glowing endorsement of Lagos, Nigeria, calling it “the most amazing city in the world.”
The comments were made during an interview with eTalk at the TIFF Tribute Awards, where Elba reflected on his positive experience filming his latest project, ‘Dust to Dreams,’ in the vibrant metropolis.
Elba praised the immense talent he encountered in Lagos, noting that it was “incredible.”
A standout collaboration was with the acclaimed singer Seal, who, for the first time, acts using his Nigerian accent in the film.
Elba described this as a “real blessing,” emphasizing the authenticity Seal brought to the role.
The film also features a special song written for the movie, performed by Seal and Constance Olatunde.
According to Elba, the track is a powerful and memorable part of the film, which will be performed at the end.
