For the first time since the competition began in 2013, Team Lagos has won the National Youth Games.
The team secured the overall title at the 9th National Youth Games held in Asaba, ending the long-standing dominance of Team Delta.
Team Lagos finished at the top of the medals table with a total of 52 gold, 32 silver, and 26 bronze medals. This historic achievement marks a significant milestone for the state in the U-15 championship.
The victory celebrates the hard work and dedication of the young athletes, coaches, and sports officials who represented Lagos at the Games.
