A tragic accident involving three buses occurred at approximately 10:44 AM on April 17, 2025, on CMS Bridge, descending toward Offin Canal in the Apongbon area.

The incident, attributed to brake failure of a T4 bus, resulted in one casualty who was urgently transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the collision caused significant disruption, with slow traffic movement reported on the CMS Bridge. Police officers from the Ebute-Ero Division have been notified and are responding to the scene. A tow truck has been contacted to evacuate the vehicles involved, aiming to restore normal traffic flow.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes where possible and exercise caution while emergency services manage the situation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
