According to an insider source from NBC, Snoop Dogg is reportedly being paid $500,000 per day plus expenses for his involvement in promoting the Olympics. Over the course of the event, which is set to last several weeks, this figure could total around $8.5 million.

This is not merely for celebrity status alone but because of his contribution towards increasing the popularity of the Games across the globe.

About 34 million people have watched NBC Sports, where there has been an increase by about 34 million as compared to Tokyo Olympics 2021. NBC’s Olympics executive producer Molly Solomon attributed some of this rise to Snoop Dogg.

“We have been so shocked, we are happy to see him so popular,” she said while referring to Snoop as the ‘‘happy ambassador’’.

What’s Snoop Dogg Doing at the Paris Olympics?

Snoop Dogg’s role at the Paris Olympics goes beyond mere appearances. The rapper has been using his talents to bring out the best in the event by contributing his charm and cheer.

Throughout the Olympics, he has participated in the endeavors, from being an Olympic torch bearer at the opening ceremony to contributing and socializing with superstars like Billie Jean King.

His participation has also involved promotional activities, including appearances at various events and engaging with fans and media. The paparazzi have been keen to capture his moments at the Games, further amplifying his impact on the event’s visibility.

A tweet from the official NBACentral on X states that Snoop Dogg earns $500,000 daily for his appearance and his expenses are also covered. Whether the money is justified to represent his value to the Olympics, one can agree that Snoop Dogg’s presence accomplished much at this year’s games.
