Boko Haram terrorists launched a deadly attack on Bamzir village in Borno State, specifically under the Whuntaku District of Chibok Local Government Area. The assault occurred around 2:10 am on Sunday, where the terrorists killed two brothers, Josiah Pogu Pudza, an SS2 student, and Enoch Pogu Pudza. Another villager, Esther Yohanna, was injured by a bullet.
The attackers set fire to multiple houses, shops, and a church auditorium, further exacerbating the devastation. They also looted food items and livestock during the attack.
The local government chairman’s media team, Mustapha Madu, issued a statement expressing condolences to the families of the victims. Madu also personally visited the site to inspect the damages to homes, businesses, and the church.
